Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Review

I’ve always wanted to play with bad characters in games I didn’t have a choice. At the top of the list are Darth Vader and his supporters. A lot of Jedi trying to destroy him on one side, and on the other, a very charismatic and transcendent character who can only kill someone with the movement of his hand. After all, even the word Sith instead of Jedi is much more attractive to me. It’s been about 5 years since Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was announced. Although there was little information about the gameplay at the time, no details were given about its subject and characters. My limits of patience began to be strained with the video, which showed these famous forces that began to navigate the market in later times and spread around. In the first part of the game, Dark Vader was given to me as a warm-up lap.

Who is Starkiller? Who’s he from?

After removing the effects of unlimited action and power on us at the beginning, the subject begins to take shape a little. Darth Vader takes the son of an enemy he has killed under his protection and begins to raise him for his own desires. This is Galen Marek, aka Starkiller, so we are. It’s between movies. But it’s so beautifully crafted that it draws you in as you go. I don’t want to give you too much information about what’s going on so that you don’t lose the fun you’re going to have as long as you play. But I can safely say that the subject and fiction are being worked on, and it is not an ordinary game.

The other side of power

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a game from TPS, based on action and a lot of fun. But just for the action juicer after a place, small character development screens and a few stylish visuals have been created. First, the character’s posture, gait and lightsaber and movements were very stylish. As you get used to the controls, the pleasure you get automatically increases. The game is basically based on the forces we wear. Powers that you can use to hold anything remotely and throw it where you want (Force Grip), push it forward (Force Push), and electrocute (Force Lightning). During the game, you can develop these powers as you kill your enemies or find boxes hidden in sections. At the same time, you can increase criteria such as different combos and improving your health.

As you jump level, giving you points for 3 main groups gives you the opportunity to develop yourself as you want from the beginning of the game. You use your powers not only to kill your enemies, but also to advance through divisions. You can open a door that you can’t open by using thrust and smashing it, if it’s metal, by bending it. Such snaps allow you to enter the atmosphere more. In addition, at the end of some episodes, you fight creatures or crossed Jedi.

When you get to the last parts, you are done with different visuals by playing mini-games with small key combinations that are currently being used thoroughly. In general, such games are short, but Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, especially towards the end, every episode does not end, even if it makes you say that this time it is the last episode, with serious designs and great actions.

Opening doors by bending

Of course, the game requires a serious physics engine, especially based on Jedi powers. It’s possible to grab characters and throw them around, bend metal doors, even grab huge planes and hit the wall and make explosions. In the promotional videos shown, physics was seen to be extremely successful. But as time progresses, you observe that it actually does not work very well. Especially after a place where you can’t hold the objects you want at the moment you want, it bothers you. In fact, it’s always the same with objects that can interact.

Between episodes the game itself takes the record. But in some places, he’s been held for too long. When you die as a result of a small mistake, you play the entire episode from the beginning. The spaces are very colorful and prepared in quality. The character animations are also good. Again, interesting episodes have been designed on top of the classic Star Wars circles. As you progress, you wear different clothes in each task because of the flow of the subject. As you develop and get used to using forces, it becomes extremely enjoyable to watch, especially if you are in the audience seat. It was minimally thought of as music and used only briefly between episodes. Almost no place was given in the game.

Finishing…

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was an extremely fun game. It’s fun to use powers, to interact with the environment. But it’s not a production that will be played again after we finish. On the other hand, it also does not have any mode via Xbox Live. Some may think that as it progresses, it is the only straight, the goal is always the same. You realize that, especially when you finish the game. OK, we’ve been waiting for years, it’s good, but Star Wars: The Force Unleashed isn’t as legendary as expected. The audience that will enjoy the most will be Star Wars fans since time immemorial.
