Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is a 2001 open world stage computer game created by Naughty Dog and distributed by Sony Computer Entertainment for the Sony PlayStation 2 on 3 December 2001, as the main round of the Jak and Daxter arrangement.

The game follows the hero, a little fellow named Jak, as he attempts to help his companion Daxter after he is changed into an ottsel, an anecdotal mixture of an otter and a weasel. With the assistance of Samos the Sage, an expert of the puzzling energy called ‘Eco’ made by an antiquated race known as the Precursors, the pair discover that they should save their reality from the maverick sages Gol and Maia Acheron, who intend to flood the world with “Dim Eco”, a secretive substance which taints all it contacts.

The game offers an enormous scope of missions, collectibles and destinations frequently as minigames which give an assortment of ongoing interaction encounters, just as riddles and platforming stages which are finished by the player to continue the story.
