It was delivered in July 2007 in North America and Europe, and in August 2007 in Australia.

Players utilize a guitar-formed regulator (bought independently) to mimic playing awesome music by hitting notes as they look towards the player. Rocks the 80s is a gradual title in the Guitar Hero arrangement, rather than a full continuation. No progressions in ongoing interaction from Guitar Hero II have been acquainted with this game. As suggested by the game’s title, the game highlights a 1980s theme, comprising of tunes from the decade and playable characters, styles, and work of art that mirror the time-frame.

The game was not too gotten as the earlier two Guitar Hero games, because of the absence of new ongoing interaction includes and diminished soundtrack. Rocks the 80s is the third and last title in the Guitar Hero arrangement to be created by Harmonix before they proceeded onward to make Rock Band. The following significant portion of the arrangement, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, was created by Activision’s Neversoft division.
