Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding Review

If all console players were asked which is the best snowboarding game right now, no doubt everyone would say the name of SSX Tricky, I think it was the best SSX Tricky. Amped: this changed my mind after I quit Freestyle Snowboarding. In addition to the fact that amped, one of the first games of our new Xbox console, looks quite ambitious, its different gameplay and gameplay bring a new perspective to snowboarding games.

I’m sliding on a dirty board!

Amped looks different from other games. But why? There are several reasons for that. One of them is that the game is completely set in real places. All the trails and mountains in the game were created by X-Games architect Chris Gunnerson. Brington in Utah, Snow Summit in California and Stratton in Vermont, which are modeled one-on-one with their facts, are the mountains we’ll skate through the game. If these names don’t mean much to you, think about it like this, these mountains are America’s Uludag, Kartalkaya and Palandoken. If these names don’t mean anything to you, you don’t have to buy the game anyway (!). Aside from that, it would be great if a ski game was made that could really be played in a familiar place in our country, wouldn’t it? Anyway, let’s drop the dreams and get back to our game. In the three mountains I just said, there are exactly 120 trails. Pretty good for a snowboarding game, huh?

Snowball Hawk game!

The main feature that distinguishes amped from others is the media event in the game. Your overall goal in all snowboarding games is to finish the races first and excite the audience with your artistic movements. But here the situation is a little different. It is important not to excite the audience with the movements you make, but to make these movements in the right place and at the right time. I mean, do your actions when you’re on TV or when a media mogul is watching you. If mediators like you, you can be cleared. How? You can find yourself a sponsor, go on magazine covers (Merlin’s cauldron, of course) and engage the media. By being recognized in this way, you can become snowboarder’s Anna Kournikova (I think it was a bad example). Of course, charisma and type are also necessary to be such a mediatic person (I also connect the topic). The producers will have thought that there are 17 snowboarders in the game, whose features can be adjusted. In addition, you can also adjust the physical characteristics of your chosen character and choose gloves, hats, coats, boots and boards yourself.

Snowman’s corruption!

In addition, amped will have a feature that has not been used in any game to date. Thanks to this, we will be able to record from any music CD on the Xbox hard drive and use these music in the game. Apart from the music we add, there are more than 150 tracks inside the game. These songs are also predominantly hiphop and funk. Of course, there is also a multiplayer mode in the game. Apart from these, Everything is the same as other snowboarding games; fantastic, dangerous, fast movements and fearless boardcular.

Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding is an extremely successful game. Amped gives the feeling of freedom in SSX with more.
